DESCRIPTION

This great Italian red wine is produced by one of the most important wineries in Puglia, Vecchia Torre. With its excellent bouquet and soft tannins it has become an international award-winning wine. The Vecchia Torre excellences A passo lento is an essential palate experience for wine lovers.

  • Alcohol content: 13.50%;

VINIFICATION


Syrah and Negroamaro grapes are harvested after a period of drying on the plant, of at least two weeks (late harvest), which determines a concentration of the sugar content and a greater aromatic complexity. After a careful selection of the grapes, they are destemmed; the must ferments in steel tanks for 10-12 days at a controlled temperature of 23-24° C. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in steel, the refinement in French oak barriques for at least 6-8 months.
