DESCRIPTION

Known as one of the finest wines of the Salento PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), the award-winning Vecchia Torre Tenute del Sud Rosso is the perfect expression of a red wine with a strong, full-bodied character. Produced by the historic Vecchia Torre winery, this wine is the result of a careful selection of the finest Syrah grapes, guaranteeing a unique and authentic flavor.

  • Alcohol content: 13%;

  • Aromas: intense and persistent with hints of ripe fruit and spices;

VINIFICATION


After careful selection of the grapes, they are destemmed and the must ferments in steel tanks for 10-12 days at a controlled temperature of 23-24°C. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in steel, and the wine is aged in large oak barrels.
