DESCRIPTION

San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria DOC Riserva is an internationally renowned Italian red wine. It takes its name from the fact that it is obtained from vineyards that are over sixty years old. It offers a unique and intense taste, perfect to pair with delicious Italian dishes, as well as being an ideal choice for lovers of fine wines.

VINIFICATION

Manual harvest of slightly overripe grapes; destemming-crushing, pre-fermentation maceration at 8°C for 24-48 hours. Thermo-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for about 10 days at 24-26°C. Final racking with soft presses, aged in French and American oak barriques for 12 months.
