DESCRIPTION

The Leone De Castris Five Roses Anniversario has become one of the most prestigious wines in Italy. It was the first rosé to be bottled in Italy in 1943. Since 1993 Leone De Castris has launched the anniversary bottle of this historic wine. Producing historic and delicious wines, the Leone De Castris winery offers a unique and authentic experience for true Italian wine lovers.

WINEMAKING

After soft crushing and destemming, the grapes are subjected to skin maceration (7-10°C) for a few hours, followed by the extraction of 50% free-run must and subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature (16-20°C).
